Our artisan partners are a group of more than 120 women, who live in isolated communities through the Puna area. In Quechua (local indigenous language), the word 'Puna' means 'high land'. The Puna is a desert, high in altitude and dominated by Andes peaks. Due to these conditions, knits have been used in this area for centuries.

The artisans work with 100% llama wool from local communities and use ancestral techniques to hand spin the wool and then hand knitted.

Hand Knitted with circular needles which makes it seamless. It has traditional Andean weaving motifs. Details are knitted with hand-dyed wool using natural extracts such as roots, leaves, and vegetables.

Finished with ribs at the cuffs and hem.
